Savitri Ramyarupa

Managing Director

Savitri Ramyarupa, a member of Thailand’s well-known Sophonpanich financial and business family, is the Managing Director of Chatrium Hotels & Residences (CHR), a Thai hospitality brand that was established with the opening of Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok and Chatrium Residence Riverside Bangkok in December 2008. Subsequently, many more properties have been rebranded under the Chatrium name, including more properties in Thailand as well as Myanmar and Japan. She provides inspirational leadership in the development of institutional strategies, as well as overseeing daily operations and brand growth. Striving to establish CHR as the premium choice for exclusive accommodation among local and international customers, Savitri has the fundamental business aim of providing guests, whether business or leisure travelers on daily or long stays, with service excellence that fulfills the brand promise of “Feel The Remarkable”. Moreover, Savitri recognizes the role of Chatrium in the need to minimize the environmental challenges that Thailand faces and to preserve the Kingdom’s natural heritage for future generations. Towards this goal, she has initiated as part of Chatrium’s corporate social responsibility program the in-house go-green project “Think First, Think Earth”, which commits employees, associates and clients to practices aimed at lessening our carbon footprint without compromising that remarkable experience.

Rene Balmer

Group General Manager

Rene Balmer is a 38-year hospitality veteran with extensive experience in the international hotel sector. Rene is well versed in all operational and financial aspects of running a successful medium to large volume operation. His wealth of background expertise was garnered from his worldwide career path encompassing a host of diverse locales such as Asia, Europe, India, the Indian Ocean and the Middle East as well as on a luxury cruise liner.

In the past ten years, Rene has diversified into the technical services area to manage and oversee a variety of hotel and restaurant projects, ranging from greenfield to takeover ventures. He has been wholly responsible for the physical development and roll-out of multiple properties, from budget to high-end hotels and residences. Rene has successfully opened nearly 40 hotels and numerous restaurants.

Rudee Sanguandeekul

Corporate Director of Sales and Marketing

Rudee is a seasoned veteran in the hospitality industry, and also has extensive experience in international real estate consultancy firms. She began her career with an international real estate company managing overseas sales, residential projects and leasing luxury residences. In this role she managed plans and strategies for developing the business and achieved sales goals.

Rudee has been with Chatrium since 1997 and is responsible for all residential leasing projects and Hotels & Residences, including developing key growth sales strategies and customer lifetime relationships.

Panida Devahastin Na Ayudhya

Group Director of Marketing Communications

With almost 20 years of experience in the luxury sector, Panida has a wealth of knowledge in account management and marketing communications for the hospitality sector. Prior to joining Chatrium Hotels and Residences, she worked for a number of luxury hospitality brands in Thailand.

A skilled team player with a proven track record of working effectively under pressure, she is known for her expertise in developing integrated marketing communication campaigns that incorporate both traditional and digital marketing techniques. In addition to her marketing strategic planning abilities, Panida has strong production skills and is well-versed in public relations and event and activation planning.

Panida brings a wealth of expertise to her role as Group Director of Marketing Communications for Chatrium Hotels and Residences, where she is responsible for all marketing communication channels, including offline, PR, media relations, event and digital marketing materials to the group's luxury properties.

Pariyarat Chunlakittiphan

Corporate Director Of Human Resources

Pariyarat has over 10 years’ experience in the role of Corporate Director of Human Resources of Chatrium Hotels and Residences, overseeing all properties in Thailand, Myanmar and Japan, and is also head of the Corporate Social Responsibility Team of the organization, spearheading green and sustainable projects.

Pariyarat is a strategic Director of Human Resources, with a proven ability to improve working environments and commitment to employee welfare. Proficient in human relations, people and organization development, Pariyarat operates with the utmost integrity and loyalty to the organization.

Before joining Chatrium, Pariyarat had 18 years with a 5-star hotel chain from the United States as a Training Manager, and assisted with the pre-opening of hotels under the brand in Thailand and south-east Asia.

Ched Ramyarupa

Special Projects Director

In his role with Chatrium, Ched is responsible for onboarding hospitality projects for the Chatrium group and leads the digitization of Chatrium’s operations as well as assists with hotel brand standards. He assesses project and product progress, and presents risks and issues to the Customer Solutions Leadership Team. Another key aspect of this key role is to identify opportunities and overcome obstacles to deliver on desired outcomes throughout the group, along with monitoring flow and quality of work to assure timely completion of workload and adherence to standards and regulations.

Prior to joining Chatrium, Ched managed Shrewsbury International schools in Thailand and Hong Kong and was responsible for campus planning.

Somnuek Umrungskulrat

Corporate Director of Information Technology

An IT hospitality specialist with 30 years’ experience in system maintenance and server infrastructure/data center operation management, training, and Digital Marketing (SEO/SEM/SMO), Somnuek is also an expert with a wide variety of web development, networking and hotel applications systems.

Under their leadership, IT is responsible for all aspects of projects, including capacity planning, resource allocation, product documentation and change management.
